Our New Construction Project Policy

Dear Valued Customer,

Welcome to your new home! The builder of your home chose Absolute Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning LLC to install the heating and air in your new home because of our excellent standard of work and customer service following the installation. The following are a few items that you need to know regarding your new Carrier equipment in your home:

-Filter sizes are 16x25x4 specialty deluxe filters designed to keep the system clean and help deter dust in your home. These filters may be purchased through our office by the case, which includes six filters for $120.00 with free delivery to your door. We recommend filter changes every 2 ½ - 3 months to maintain the proper function of your system. We recommend changing the filters during the first month after you move in because of the sheetrock dust that builds up during construction. Sheetrock dust is hard to see on the white filter, and you’ll need to ensure no sheetrock dust remains in the filters.

Your home comes with a 1-year labor warranty provided by us and a 5-year parts warranty provided by Carrier. An extended 10-year parts warranty is available with registering your new equipment through Carrier. Our office will gladly take care of you if you provide us with your contact information within 90 days of closing. Please inquire about our preventive maintenance program when you call!

If your air conditioner was installed during winter, the air conditioner was not charged. It must be at least 70 degrees outside to properly charge air conditioners. Once spring arrives, please call our office for scheduling, and a technician will take care of this for you. Please note that when you start your heaters for the first time, a slight burning smell will be emitted that will last for a few cycles, which is normal.
